What is Karneval?
Karneval is Joker Out’s biggest project to date. It’s an all-day festival, interactive, and concert experience celebrating the band’s 10th anniversary.
When and at what time does the event start?
Karneval begins on Saturday, June 20th 2026, at 3 p.m.. For a limited number of ticket holders, the venue will open a day early — on Friday June 19th at 7 p.m. — for the so-called Spar & Mastercard Sneak Peek rehearsal.
When should I arrive at the venue?
We strongly recommend that you arrive before 6 p.m. so that you can be sure to enjoy the main part of the event—the Joker Out concert—without any hassle.
Can minors attend the event?

Kardeljeva ploščad in Ljubljana.
How big is the venue?
The venue covers an area of 19,500 m².
What types of tickets are available?
Three ticket categories are available:
– General standing area tickets for €34.90 (entire venue).
– Spar Fan Pit tickets for €69.90 (right in front of the stage).
– VIP tickets (exclusively for invited guests).
Do I need to print my ticket?
No, it is not necessary, but it is one of the ways to enter. You will need to show your ticket in either electronic or printed form with a clearly visible barcode. Be especially careful if you do not purchase your ticket through official sales channels, as we accept no responsibility for any irregularities by potential resellers or second-hand purchases.
Who will be performing at the Karneval?
Over 100 artists will perform, with the spotlight on the main stars of the evening—the band Joker Out.
Alongside the “Jokers”, you will be able to see Finnish superstar Käärijä as an opening act and guest, Serbian rapper Devito as a guest, while the role of the opening act will go to the band selected through the special contest organized by Mastercard, Val 202 and MMC.
Numerous artists from the Fuskabo circus troupe will add extra energy to the entire event, while a DJ will keep the energy going throughout the daytime program.
What is the event schedule?
FRIDAY, JUNE 19, 2026
7 p.m. – Doors open for Spar & Mastercard Sneak Peek dress rehearsal ticket holders.
8:30–10:00 p.m. – Spar & Mastercard Sneak Peek dress rehearsal.
SATURDAY, JUNE 20, 2026
3 p.m. – Doors open for the Karneval.
3 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Daytime activities.
6:30 p.m. – Performance by the opening act, selected through the contest organized by Mastercard, Val 202 and MMC.
7:30 p.m. – Performance by Käärijä.
9 p.m. – Concert by Joker Out.
What will be happening during the day?
During the day, the venue will come alive as a true carnival — with acrobatic performances, a fortune-teller, carnival games and other interactive activities.
Will food and drinks be available?
Absolutely, we are planning a wide range of food and drink options, from a diverse selection of beverages to a special food court (Smash burgers and Lepa žoga Hotdogs).
Will there be commemorative cups available?
Absolutely, yes! All drinks (with the exception of water, which will be available in plastic bottles) will be served exclusively in special personalised reusable Joker Out cups. A €3 deposit will be required, which you can get back, or keep the cup (0.4 l) as a souvenir of the spectacular event at Kardeljeva ploščad.

How does payment work at the event?
The event will be cashless—payment is accepted exclusively via credit or debit cards.
Will Joker Out merchandise be available for purchase at the Karneval?
Of course. And that’s not all—we’re preparing brand-new items, including some celebrating Joker Out’s 10th anniversary.
How do I get to the venue?
There will be plenty of options.
LPP (City Bus)
The nearest bus stops of the Ljubljana city public transport network (LPP) are on Dunajska cesta (Mercator stop — lines 6, 8 and 11), Vojkova cesta (Kardeljeva ploščad stop — lines 13 and 20) and Baragova ulica (Baragova stop — line 18).
LPP will increase the frequency of all bus services stopping near the Karneval venue before and after the concert.
NOMAGO REGIONAL TRANSPORT
Joker Out, in collaboration with NOMAGO, has arranged transportation for Karneval visitors from six different corners of Slovenia to the concert venue and back.
The flat fare is €12 round-trip. Buses will depart from the following locations across Slovenia, making stops along the way:
- Prevalje
- Maribor
- Novo Mesto
- Jesenice
- Nova Gorica
- Koper

Where can I park my car?
We are preparing a map of all available parking lots. City Park & Ride (P+R) parking lots will also be available. Nearest car parks to the event:
- Stožice Arena
- Gosarjeva ulica
- Parking lots by Cvetličarna (Kranjčeva ulica)
- Žale I, II, III, IV and V
- Gospodarsko razstavišče (Exhibition and Convention Centre)
Where can I park my bike, e-scooter, or scooter?
In collaboration with Knoppers, we have set up a supervised “bike rack” in the parking lot between the Faculty of Administration and the Faculty of Social Sciences, where you can park your bicycle, e-bike, e-scooter, scooter etc. free of charge for the duration of your visit. Motorbikes, mopeds etc. are not permitted in our bicycle parking area.
Will there be an information desk at the event?
Right at the entrance, we will set up a dedicated information point, where the following will be available:
- Essential information
- Lost & found
- Contact for the on-site medical/rescue team
- Contact for on-site police
- Contact for on-site security
- Contact for the organisers
Is there an age restriction for the event?
No, everyone is welcome to attend the event. Free entry is available for pre-school children, while ticket prices are uniform for all other groups.
Is the event accessible to people with disabilities?
Yes, the venue is fully accessible. Appropriate access and facilities will be available, and a companion accompanying a person with a disability receives a free ticket.
What am I not allowed to bring to the venue?
All dangerous items are prohibited, as well as any food or drink, umbrellas, and glass or plastic bottles.
Will the event take place regardless of the weather?
Yes, regardless of any bad weather, rain or storm, the concert will go ahead on Saturday June 20th 2026. But let’s all think positive and wish for a beautiful, sunny day and a star-filled evening for the third Saturday of June 2026.
Will the event be recorded?
Yes, a team from RTV Slovenia will be present at the event to film the entire Karneval.
Will I be able to use a camera, smartphone, or video camera at the event?
Of course, recording will be permitted, but professional equipment may only be used by those with media accreditation. Recording on regular phones will be allowed.
Can I use a drone?
The use of drones is strictly prohibited in the concert area, as the venue is on property belonging to the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia.
Can I leave the venue and return later?
Re-entry will not be permitted.
Can I buy tickets on the day of the event?
We recommend purchasing in advance, as tickets, if still available, will be more expensive when bought at Kardeljeva ploščad on the day (€39.90 for general standing, €79.90 for fan pit).
