An open-air spectacle celebrating 10 years of Slovenian dand Joker Out.

Karneval will be more than just a concert. Karneval will be a true festival, full of action, surprises, music, circus and acrobatic acts, numerous performers, and a feast for the eyes and ears. Fantastic music, stunning lighting and pyrotechnic effects, a rich supporting program, various fun workshops and many musical performances.
The band Joker Out will be joined on stage by the Finnish Eurovision sensation Käärijä, the mysterious Serbian rap star Devito, a Slovenian band selected through a competition, the Fuskabo circus with dozens of performers, DJs, and many others.
Over five hundred artists and members of the supporting and organisational staff will be on hand to make sure you have a wonderful time in the heart of Ljubljana. That you step into a magical Karneval, full of experiences, surprises, love and good cheer. We promise you will have an amazing time. And that the start of summer 2026 will stay with you for a long time to come.

The venue on Kardeljeva ploščada will be 19,500 square meters large, and you can reach it on foot, by LPP buses (free for ticket holders on June 20), by bicycle, e-bike, scooter or e-scooter (a secure bike shed will be available for all these vehicles). At the location, you can enjoy a rich carnival accompanying program (workshops by the Fuskabo circus, Magic Aleksander, fortune teller, carnival games, food trucks, a wide range of drinks, new Joker Out merch and more…).

What is Karneval?
Karneval is Joker Out’s biggest project to date. It’s an all-day festival, interactive, and concert experience celebrating the band’s 10th anniversary.
When and at what time does the event start?
Karneval begins on Saturday, June 20th 2026, at 3 p.m.. For a limited number of ticket holders, the venue will open a day early — on Friday June 19th at 7 p.m. — for the so-called Spar & Mastercard Sneak Peek rehearsal.
When should I arrive at the venue?
We strongly recommend that you arrive before 6 p.m. so that you can be sure to enjoy the main part of the event—the Joker Out concert—without any hassle.
Can minors attend the event?

How big is the venue?
The venue covers an area of 19,500 m².
What types of tickets are available?
Three ticket categories are available:
– General standing area tickets for €34.90 (entire venue).
– Spar Fan Pit tickets for €69.90 (right in front of the stage).
– VIP tickets (exclusively for invited guests).
Do I need to print my ticket?
No, it is not necessary, but it is one of the ways to enter. You will need to show your ticket in either electronic or printed form with a clearly visible barcode. Be especially careful if you do not purchase your ticket through official sales channels, as we accept no responsibility for any irregularities by potential resellers or second-hand purchases.
Who will be performing at the Karneval?
Over 100 artists will perform, with the spotlight on the main stars of the evening—the band Joker Out.
Alongside the “Jokers”, you will be able to see Finnish superstar Käärijä as an opening act and guest, Serbian rapper Devito as a guest, while the role of the opening act will go to the band selected through the special contest organized by Mastercard, Val 202 and MMC.
Numerous artists from the Fuskabo circus troupe will add extra energy to the entire event, while a DJ will keep the energy going throughout the daytime program.

What will be happening during the day?
During the day, the venue will come alive as a true carnival — with acrobatic performances, a fortune-teller, carnival games and other interactive activities.
Joker Out is looking for a new wave for Karneval

One of the biggest music events of the coming year is taking shape under the Ljubljana sky — Karneval by Joker Out, which will bring together top musical acts, a spectacular production, and thousands of visitors on June 20 at Kardeljeva ploščad. But alongside the big stars, space on the stage will also be given to those who are just starting out — the new wave of the local music scene.
In partnership with Mastercard, Val 202 and MMC, Joker Out has designed a unique competition in 2026 for young musical performers who want to step onto a big stage. This is an opportunity that goes beyond a typical competition — the winner will receive not just a performance slot, but an experience that could mark the beginning of their musical journey.
A total of 55 Slovenian bands and solo artists entered the competition, confirming that the local scene is alive, creative and seeking for its place. Among the entrants lies a diverse spectrum of genres, original approaches and musical identities that together offer a fascinating glimpse into the future of Slovenian music.
A panel of judges selected 10 finalists from all the entries, who have advanced to the next round and are competing for a performance slot at Karneval.
An important part of the decision also lies in the hands of the public. You can cast your vote until May 13th on the RTV SLO website, and reactions and likes on social media also influence the result. It is precisely this combination of expert judgement and public support that gives the competition its special weight and credibility.
Karneval will thus be not only a celebration of Joker Out’s 10th anniversary, but also an event that opens doors to new talent and gives a voice to the future of Slovenian music.
